Snow Melt

Hickory, T-Bone and Talk

Coolin' off :-).

The Three Musketeers

Burrnie and Blossom

I was sitting on the other side of the short barn lot fence (I know better than to try to knit with the boys around ;-).  I was so enjoying watching Maisie picking at hay and the chickens picking at whatever it is that chickens pick around at that I decided to take a short video.  The sound of the snow melting off the roof and the creek down the hill and the birds, so happy...mostly drowned out by wind noise.  Argh. Always something, eh?  You might want to turn your volume down.

Trying to catch up with you and the wooly gang today! I have spent the most blissful half hour with a big mug of tea reading and oohing and aahing at your pics. I think if I couldn't live here in the Rockies, I would try to talk my John into buying a sheep farm. So beautiful. Every single thing. So, so glad you all made it through the big snow! Your post (essay) on your midnight walk...magical. I had never heard boards pop in the cold before moving here. Now every time we dip into single digits the boards on our back deck start popping. A happy sound to me. I am SO curious about your Maisie sweater! Can't wait to hear an update! Go Sarah!!!! *big hugs* :)

OK, I'll try to get this right.

The peaceable kingdom for sure. Jealous of your big melt. It is 9:30pm and 42 degrees, but we still have mountains of snow to get rid of.

I agree, it is so nice to see Burrnie in with the crew. And did I miss something? Who is Talk? a visitor? Cannot believe that snow melting that fast...the Three Musketeers like it though. Enjoying my morning tea with the sheepies...........

The best thing about spring snow storms is that the snow doesn't last for another 3 months! Love that Comby is hanging out with the dogs.
