Sunday Stills Photography Challenge

"...by now there should be some greenery in just about everywhere, so lets shoot some flowers and plants for the folks without flowers… :-)"

Flowers anyone?

Aren't these cute - the size of a common house fly. You should never judge a bush by it's... ;-)

Bleeding hearts peering over St. Francis' shoulder. He appears to be gazing down, probably thinking "Ye Gads, look at all the weeds!"

A reminder to make room for ALL bees, not just the honey bees.

These two bushes have grown so close together it's as if they are BFFs holding hands. The pink is a Wegilia and we can't identify the white. It's a huge bush (most likely very old), covered in tiny leaves and small clumps of white flowers. Anyone?

And what about this "mystery" heart? It may surprise you. Any guesses?

I am enjoying the Sunday Stills Challenges. Follow the link for more beautifully photographed flowers from all over the world.

The white bush may be a variety of spirea. The "heart" looks like an upside-down shot of a wild onion/garlic bloom, or some variety of alum.

Great shots! The Bleedingheart and St. Francis is my fave. Keebler with a mouth full of flowers would have been a great shot..:-)
P.s. How is the little convict doing.....

Spring has certainly sprung where you are! Lovely shots.

Mystery...upside down chive!

I agree-maybe an old variety called Bridalwreath Spirea. Also agree on the upside down alium. Maybe you have chives in your garden?

I thought it was a chive, but still kinda the same. Is the bush a burning bush? Great shots thanks

Looks like chives! Am I right?

Well done!... and my guess would have been a chive bloom.

Yep, it a chive :-). And a burning bush. And wisteria - it's the first year it's bloomed, so we're extra excited! And thanks for the ID on the white blooms!

Great photos. I don't know what the white bush is, but we had them all over when I was kid.

Bleeding Hearts at the back of St. Francis and the bird on his shoulder look even more impressive when I biggify the photo as the colors of the statue are highlighted.

Great photos! Not sure on the "heart" but a small daisy, maybe?

I agree, from here the white looks like Bridalwreath. They are very old, and often used as landscape around the old colonials in this part of New York and Vermont.

You have such lovely pictures posted. And I loved the ones of Keebler being naughty, LOL. Of course, I have to run and hide when my youngest is being naughty, I need to work on my sense of humor, LOL.
Have a fantastic week
Hugs
Amy

Your flowers are soooo far ahead of ours! I'm guessing the "heart" is a chive?

Free Keebler! ;) He's only going to be little for a short time, we need more pics! Or there will be a Keebler kidnapping! ;)
