Katherine The Great

Kate

October 26, 2005 - October 30, 2021

I'm sorry, Katie.  I'm sure you'd rather I had picked a serious herding picture or a pretty portrait, but you rolling around in the yard, playing with a favorite toy as we walked together to and from the barn all day long, every day until today never failed to bring me joy.  Thank you.  For everything.  It was truly an honor.

Oh Sara, and on Hug A Sheep Day? I hope she fell asleep dreaming of herding sheep, and doing all the other things she loved, while you stroked her. My heart is broken for you.

Kate was so lucky. Your farm should also be called Twilight Farm. A beautiful stop in life before heaven for all animals, especially those in their golden years. A person should be so blessed. Godspeed, sweet Katherine. On to heavenly fields. K. Littrell

And Great she was!
A joyful pup who loved her "job". She was a lucky pup. Now run and herd those sheep, gonna miss you!

So sorry for your loss. But, she had the best karma to have been part of your life for so long.

Great picture as it shows the joy she always appeared to have had on the farm.

Hugs to you all.

Sixteen is a nice long life and she did a beautiful job fitting into your farm including being able to be silly sometimes. Sorry for your loss. Dogs seem to hurt the most.

I am so sorry for the loss of your sweet Kate. I love seeing her rolling and playing. She had a wonderful life with you and all the farm animals. Hopefully she and my Tessa are running and digging in doggie heaven. I know she was loved by so many.
