Who IS That Cute Lambie?

Well, yeah, that's a cute lambie in the front, but look in the background!

Looks like Chunky Monkey might run in the family ;-).

If you haven't already guessed, this one ear cocked backwards look ought to give it away :-D.

It's Maisie's sister!  And I think that's her mom next to her in the first two pictures, but need to double check that.

** Update - yes, that's Maisie's mom.  Well, her birth mom ;-).

Oh, and "Who IS that cute lambie?" is what I say to all my babies.  Not sure how that got started, but they all hear that (and also that they are the softest, smartest, fastest, best jumper... ;-)

I brought up pictures of Maisie to compare to her mom. You are so right! Like mother like daughter. I wonder if their temperaments are the same as well? Does mom have a name?

They do like alike, but Maisie has a bit more robust and full head and body shape than her sister. Is it the treats and lots of love that made the difference or the genetics?!:-)

Maisie is a very lucky little girl. When I think at how small she was when you got her....lucky indeed....

Awwww... how did you find her and sister? Are you sure? And does Maisie know...?
:-)

Annmarie knows her sheep well, but she double checked the number on her ear tag when she got back to the barn just to be sure. I told Maisie, but she was mostly just, "So?" :-)

Maisie's a lot shorter and more compact I think. That may be why she looks more "robust". Also, her wool is denser because that early wool came off soon after she was born and stressed.
