Oh You Know It

I have finally divided up the Punkin throw yarn into two groups of pretty closely matched yarns. The warp (vertical yarn) is on the ladder and the weft (horizontal yarn) is on the coffee table. The extra yarn is what is still in the skeins.

It took awhile to get this divided out so it is important they don't get mixed back together. You know what would be really handy for keeping everything safe and separated?

A couple boxes.

Sigh.

I'd bring you some but I got rid of all mine-baahahahaha!
Little Luna is pretty cute...are you sure you don't need a bottle baby? Of course, it looks like Birdie would have to come along. Maybe you should just wait and see what turns up at Kathy's...

Once your warp is set up, you should only have the weft left, right?

Haha!! What about some big bowls instead :-)

Cardboard...just say NO.

I feel your pain. So many boxes...aren't they ugly?

I like the idea of bowls, or baskets. Maybe some nice pottery bowls! Or shoot, even a couple of pillowcases.

Have fun! The wool is amazing.

Oh, I agree! Never. Throw. Anything. Out.

The suggestion of setting up your loom right smartly is probably the best option, but perhaps rife with conflicting obligations. Good luck.

Okay, I'm pretty sure any time you can use the words "rife with conflicting obligations", that's a win! :-D

I'm trying to move and boxes are actually hard to come by! I think you should weave a couple of bags or baskets to put your weft and warp in.

I want to know more about that ladder! Where does it lead to? Is it in your living room? Anyway, love the yarn and the ladder!

That goes up to the wool house storage loft. It's a separate building out near the barn - what happens when you overrun the house with wool, yarn and toys ;-). You can click the "wool house" label and see more pictures.

Actually, I love me some IKEA boxes; they are practical, goodlooking, and have different sizes and lid variations..

omgosh, I sound like a BOX HOARDER!
