How Saint Tim Spent His Winter Vacation

We went to New York, east of Rochester and about one mile from Lake Ontario, over the weekend to pick up an antique spinning wheel. Single digit temps with blowing lake effect snow. I tried to take some video, but my hands were so cold that I couldn't make it more than 20 seconds without them hurting so bad that I had to quit. What did Saint Tim do?

Okay... looks fun...but nothing to really write home (or the blog) about.

Let's get a better view.

And y'all thought I was crazy!

Could be another guy thing.... But, I have gone out on a snow mobile in northern WI with my son, and it was fun........for a while. Not for a day. Liked when we stopped to warm up at various places.

Is he on a lake? I can't do lake snowmachineing it is just too scary. I really don't like to be cold, but my husband relishes this whole snowmaching thing. I endure it, until I can get home again.

Shorts?! Wow! I'm impressed! Sainthood must protect you from the elements-otherwise I'd just have to think he was nuts.

OK, tell me this was a *brief* outing for Saint Tim! I want to know how did the wheel fit in the vehicle, and how many sheep did you also bring back?

Hubby would love it! I live in Mississippi, and we went to Houston,Texas to pick up a antique walking spinning wheel a few years ago. Had a great time, at the beach and I just love my wheel. I need to have the maiden and spindle reworked, I found a man, near Quincy, LA that will do it. I really want to spin on it.
