We buried her on the hill next to Hank. I thought about adding her angel costume, but ended up just making her a new pretty halo. I told her she didn't have to wear it, but maybe should take it with her...just in case she needed it.

I started reading your blog when Maisie was a baby and she wore all her different coats. Loved the friendship between her and Hank. Maisie had such a lively personality! She'll be missed!

The only silver lining is that she is now forever with Hank. He must be very glad to see her and she, him. I'm so sorry for you and for all of us who have loved Maisie over the years.

Ahhh Maisie, you were loved by all of us in blogland. You were truly an Exceptional Sheep, So sorry for your loss, Sara and Tim.
If ever a sheep was loved and allowed to live her best life, it was Maisie. She was one lucky girl. Go in peace Maisie.
What a great life she had with you. I'm sure Hank will put in a good word for her if needed but I'm confident she earned her spot on her own merits. RIP Maisie. You were well loved.

When Maisie first entered your life, my daughter was a little girl and would sit on my lap while we read about Maisie and looked at her photos. Her reach went far and wide. Cherish her memory.
