It's Like Christmas And My Birthday!

Lamb Camp AND the Iknitarod?!?  It just doesn't get any better!

The Training Center got hit hard by the storm last week.  Heartbreaking damage, but no one got hurt. At least that's something.  And in the midst of so much destruction, three lambs were born.  I finally thought to take my camera over.

"It was crazy, I'm telling you!"

Doesn't she have beautiful eyes?

It was probably a good thing this monster sized lamb came a few days early :-o.

And so it begins :-).

I didn't manage my time very well today and didn't get as much knitting done as I'd planned. My goal was two more repeats.  I only got one.  That is probably for the best though as my thumb and right shoulder are a bit achy this evening.  Can't have sore feet this early in!

What a beautiful start to the day to see this lovely mama and her babies.
I am so sorry that your Training Center friends have such damage and hope repairs come soon.
Your knitting makes a comfy lamby bed.

Proud mama and precious lambs, new beginnings and almost spring, what more can we ask for?

Such a pretty mama - eyes and all! Such adorable lambies!
Enquiring mind here wants to know if you will be sneaking Lamb #08, with the curly white mop and black fleece, home to Equinox Farm, after (s)he can leave mama's side. I think you need a black lambie with a white mop, I truly do.

I spent so much time watching all of the mushers leave Fairbanks I only got to the 204-stitch stage on my baby blanket. No lame hands, just a lame excuse. So you've done a lot imho!
