Shivery Sheep

Not really.  Sheep handle too cold much better than too hot.

Even though Graham seems a little undecided about leaving the barn.

I opened up the arena as a little morale boost.

This is why Maisie isn't cold.  You can stick your entire hand into her thick wool!

Buddy and Renny

Murphy

It was still single digits at this point this morning.  My fingers were numb!  I just got in from the night barn check and it was a balmy 20 something degrees.  Supposed to warm up to 24 as the night goes on.  Then back down to 6 tomorrow night.  At least it's not muddy.

Zero degrees in my neck of the woods at 7am this morning. That was really cold for us!

I saw these pictures on Facebook first, without the captions. I play this little game with the photos and try to guess who is who. Sadly, I only got Maisie correct this time. Just when I think I'm making progress. . .boom! I don't know why I'm having so much trouble memorizing them! I have a goal of learning all of them in case I can someday fulfill a bucket list dream of coming to visit on "Hug A Sheep Day" or one of your other Open House days. :-)

29°F in Savannh GA this morning! Maisie may be "dramatic", but she does make a lovely jumper for herself. Looking at those photos, Buddy and Murphy are no slouches either.

No snow? It is single digits here and our alpacas don't stay inside either ;-) Beautiful pictures as always!!!

I'm glad you tag them with their names. I also am trying to be able to identify each one and I'm usually wrong! Except a few who are so individual that you can't get them wrong.

If I was ever marooned on a deserted arctic island (is that redundant?), I would want to be dropped off with your sheep! My sister got me some wonderful fingerless mitts with a mitten flap, but my fingers are so cold they don't generate any heat under the mitten! Can't wait for something more balmy - like 24.... :)

You wouldn't know with the grass it was THAT cold- wow...and maybe it doesn't snow in your neck of the woods. I bet the wooly ones enjoyed a bit of green :)

I just want to give them all huge hugs - and sink my hands into their amazing coats! I could sure use their insulation - went down to -38C with the windchill last night.... brrrr....

Looks like you don't have sunshine since I don't see a lot of shadows. It's been in the 30's at night and 60's during the day with sunshine, almost more like springtime during the day.

So... we could knit coats for Del Boca Vista Residents. Or get some of those lighted palm trees. Just little Resident perks :-)
