"Um...Hello..."

"I'm the new lamb here.  The people don't have a name for me yet, but I hope they come up with one soon.  Lambie Lambie Lambie isn't going to be fun when I grow up, I don't think."

"I heard this was an okay place, but I had a pretty rough start here.  I didn't understand why I had to leave my mom and brothers and I was really hungry but they wouldn't give me enough to eat and I cried and cried and just wanted to go home."

"See, I knew my mom really loved me and I'm sure she didn't want me to go away."

"But me and my two brothers were all really skinny and we were our mom's first kids so she didn't really have enough milk for all of us and so we had to do this 'cause it was best for everyone."

"And I'm having a better day today.  I'm not so hungry and the lady seems nice and she took a nap out in the grass under a shade tree with me so I guess it will be okay.

Oh, and I'm supposed to tell you my mom was one of the woven throw sheep.  I have no idea what that means but I guess I'll find out."

OH, he is just gorgeous, even cuter than the first photo. I wonder if
his mom would recognize him or the baby his mom after a few weeks...
No idea how that works :)

That's one lucky lambie, even if he's not quite sure about it yet. Looking forward to getting to know him better as time goes by!

Woohoo! This was unexpected. What a lucky little guy to end up with you. So are you bottle feeding him or is he older than that?

Awww! Isn't he sweet. Such a beautiful and unique little lambie.

Some how I had a feeling he was going for a ride when I saw him on the front seat. How could anyone spend all that time at Lamb Camp and not come home with someone. Just darling, I love his markings! I agree with Suzan, Oreo is perfect. -^.^-

He DOES have doodles on his face...I vote for Doodlebug.

If he is rambunctious ..... You could call him Zorro :-)
That first capture is a treat. Bet his mom misses her little onyx baby.

It was only a matter of time! Such a sweet lambie. Did you figure out a name yet? Ebony (and Ivory), Doodlebug is a good idea...Licorice...Magic...Tres (for being the third)...Bingo....you must have a gazillion suggestions.

Awww! What a sweetheart! Beautiful wool, and I love the color. I had a inkling that a new lambie was at the farm from a recent blue bird :-) Yea! Lucky little guy - at the sweetest home. Can't wait until he meets the rest of the gang!

Oh, poor sweet baby! I feel bad for his mom. She must miss him...and he is surely missing her.

But I know that he will have a good home with you and all your sheepies.

And I would call him "Dandelion X.":-): He is chewing on a grass blade near a dandelion and has a white X mark (sort of) on his face.

how about "Line-us".
Charlie Brown would like that.

It was just a matter of time before a lambie came home to Equinox Farm . . . He reminds me of Marble chocolate cake. I vote for Marble.

So cute! I'm glad Lambie, his brothers, and their Mum are all doing well.

I tried to think of a good name, but the creative pat of my brain isn't functioning today. Do his brothers have names?

Yay! Another cute lamb in the world. Beware though - refuse to answer to Lambie.... We have 5 year old twin s who rejoice in the names Lambie and Baby who now wish they'd run away from us when we called them for their bottles.

Oreo, X-Man, Doodles, but not Lambie, Lambie, Lambie, that name is just too long and repetitive. Congratulations, someone to carry the banner posts now that Blossom and Maisie are all grown up. Breed?

Oh you did get a black lamb! Your flock is colourfully complete now!
Eli. I think he's an Eli, after the song, "Eli's comin'..."

RuusVerd said...

What a cutie! "Freckles" was the name that came immediately to my mind, but I'm sure you'll think of something. All your sheep have such creative names!
