My Favorite Sheep (Giveaway)

I saw this sweet scene yesterday afternoon and remembered I'd forgotten to post the Uncle Willard pictures from before the festival. I love all my sheeps, but there are a few extra favorites.  Willard has always been one of them and letting Chocula use him as a pillow yesterday just further cements his status.

After three years of baby punching (Lila, Blossom and Maisie) either Willard's mellowed out/given up or maybe he just hates girls.  I'm guessing it's the latter.  Those girl lambs are pretty silly ;-).

And the boys aren't???

"Uh oh, Chocula.  Red alert!"

"That dratted dog and his silly lamb are headed right for us!"

And off to the barn they ran.

Chocula:  "I just don't see why everyone loves him so much."

Daniel:  "Yeah, even Willard likes him."

Hank:  "I just ignore those silly boys."

Do you have a favorite sheep?  If so, who (doesn't have to be a Punkin's Patch sheep ;-)?  Leave a comment and on Friday I'll have 20 draw a winner and send out your choice of an Equinox Farm or Lamb Camp calendar.  And I will have the shipping details cyphered out next week for ordering!

At least Hershey loves Hank :-).

Boudreaux will always be first in my heart, but that gorgeous, luscious, sexy face of Count Chocula stepped him right into my favorite.

Please thank Uncle B. Willard for being a soft pillow and setting up for the perfect head shot of 'my favorite sheep'!

you mean I have to pick just one????

Maisie...no, Renny...no, Hershey.

Maisie, I guess.

so hard to decide. Maisie crept into my heart just because she was such a trooper as a baby. Blossum is a very close second.

It depends on the day...depends who's being good or who's being bad-ie who's instigating an escape and who is not!

I like Maisie. She was so young and sick when I started reading your blog.

Well, since I started following you just in the last year or so, I would have to say Maisie since I have watched her grow. Hank is a great doggy! Loving his smile.

Maisie! she's got spunk! But then Hershey's bouffy hair in the last pic almost got my vote...

I still like Marceau, LOL, and Maisie, and Blossom and ...... all the rest. Have a few here at my house too.

Love the picture of Hank and Hershey with his mullet hair, did he forget to get his cut when St. Tim did?

I love them all and I think they are all just adorable but I think my favorite would have to be Count Chocula :)

Gotta be the the Willardmeister. It's the googly eyes. And he lets me kiss on him when I come visit. I wish he were here on the sofa with me so I could rest on him.

Keebler! (And my Doodle and Snowball). Keebler brought me to your blog, via Google images, when he was a lamb. Definitely Keebler. Or Graham.

Unknown said...

Not fair to have to choose only one:-/.
So, let me narrow it down to a few: I like Blossom, and the new boys, and Graham, and Renny, and of course, Maisie! And all of the silly spotty Jacobs because of their beautiful fleece.

I also like Petunia, especially in that one frontal close-up of her face.

Her face and her eyes are of the most beautiful and harmonious shades of different earthy golden tones. Love looking at it!

So, she is my pick for today. And my desktop background for the past month or so:-)

Unknown said...

Oh boy, how did I forgot to include Keebler on my short list?! Keebler added!:-) Check!

How can I choose just one???

I guess it has to be Blossom... since she was just a lambie when I first discovered Punkin's Patch and I fell in love. :)

My favorite sheep (dog) is Hank.
Ha ha.

Maisie Maisie Maisie. A sheep that a cat can love has got to be a pretty special sheep. Renny too though.

Love the white blaze on Daniel's face !

Deanna said...

Oh I love that last shot...so sweet. Sheep have such sweet faces. Whenever I happen upon some sheep, I always stop to take their picture.

Unknown said...

They all warm my heart, but Miss Maisie and Miss Blossom are pretty close to the tops.

Punkin.
Because every story has a beginning and Punkin's
(aka: yours) beginning is a great story.

Rebecca said...

Has to be Maisie because she was the one that brought me to your blog. And now it's my favorite blog.

Alice said...

Maisie in my arms was something magical, Ewenice was the pentultimate mom, and Hershey just melts my heart. For me there's just no such thing as one favorite from your farm family.

Just one?? I have a hard enough time doing that with my flock. Hands down, it's Renny. Her whole story is just awe-inspiring. Maisie had her hurdles to overcome, but Renny is special.

However of the punkin patch sheep I CANNOT decide I love them all <3

Rachel Berry said...

Well I love all sheep! But my favourite sheep has to be the late, great Hubert who sadly died last month. He loved to be hugged and have his tummy rubbed. I miss seeing him every morning at feed time as he was always waiting for me by the gate.

Tee said...

I started following you just in the last year and I love Maisie since I have watched her grow.

I came on board a little before Maisie. That little baby sheep and her problems had me looking for your posts everyday. Now, that I have met some of the other family, the decision is really hard. And I want a dog like Hank. So, sign me as a sheep lover. I love them all and I love your blog!
Take care.

My favourite sheep is Molly. A stout, staunch, stoic hero with a wicked twinkle in her eye and a soft huggable heart :-)

My favourite PP sheep is Keebler :-D

BWD Hank! Hank is my favorite sheep.

Pat said...

It has to be Renny!

Kylie said...

Little Renny's story breaks my heart, so it makes me so happy she's so happy and healthy today! She has to be my fav!
My non-Punkin's Patch favorite sheep is a set of triplets at a local farm. They were the most precious little lambs-- got so distressed when they were temporarily separated and bounded together with such joy when reunited. It was TOO adorable to watch!

You can not make me choose... that is like ripping out my heart.... it is not possible.... If you need an answer... I pick YOU!!! without YOU... there would be no one to tell their story... (and keep it straight). That's my story and I'm sticking to it!!!! Hearthfelts and all....

MAISIE!! I came to your blog just as she was happening and un-happening and since I am an 'old' premie nurse I was and have been SMITTEN with her.
What can I say?

Jane B. said...

My kitten, Piper, and I read your blog every day and so I let her pick. She chose Popcorn PeePee Pants because, "her name just makes me giggle."

Michelle said...

Oh, that last photo is SO beautiful!

I think my favorite sheep of all time was probably Valentine. She was so very personable and sweet – and pretty. Of the current flock, it would be hard to top Bittersweet – another sweet chocolate sheep....

Spinners End Farm said...

My favorite sheep is still Fancy Pants...but Faola (a lamb from this year) is creeping up on her!

Suzan said...

Ahhhhh - that last picture is adorable!! Hank is MY favorite sheep - along with Maisie and Blossom and your chocolate head . . . . .
How do you have a favorite??

Sheepmom said...

My favorite sheep is the one whose photo is in front of me at any given time.

My favorite local sheep, is a beautiful Shetland ewe at my neighbors farm, named Emmylou, who was born on my birthday.

Most of your sheep are so cute and almost seem to pose for their photos, but I have a soft spot for grumpy old lady Elizabeth the Jacob sheep. The post where you were trying to sneak closer and closer to her wearing the jumper including some of her wool, and she tolerated it so long then just walked away was great.
