I was working out on the Wool House porch yesterday when I saw B. Willard and the boys headed down to the back pasture. Willard's been pretty ugly to all the lambs the last three years so I was surprised to see him willingly take Chocula, Daniel and Hershey under his wing this fall. I guess he just thinks girl lambs are too much trouble ;-).
I grabbed the camera and walked over to take some pictures. I was trying to concentrate on focusing through the fence planks and kept hearing something behind the barn. I peeked around the corner and...
Graham. And a chicken. Significant I am sure, but I've given up trying to figure out why.
Are you KIDDING ME??? A year and a half later and you are STILL TRYING TO DISMANTLE THE Grahaminator 2000???
"What. I'm just standing here. Hanging out with my minion, I mean chicken friend."
I didn't think much more about it and walked past the barn and down the hill for some closer shots with Uncle Willard. Hank and Maisie joined us and we were having a nice little visit when I heard more noise up the hill. Oh. For. Pete's. Sake!
GRAHAM LAMB!!! (Well, that may not have been exactly what I said ;-)
"I hate this place."

Hee hee Each year they get smarter about how to do what they aren't allowed too .
Our horses have certain special chicken buddies too, sometimes I swear it is just so they can blame the deed on their clucking side kick ;)
Funny. Such silly sheep.
Think Graham might be a bit bored with life on the farm? Or jealous someone else is getting more time in the photo shoot department?
Still trying to get Hank's dog food. Grrr. ;-)
This is Precisely why he wears a bell!!!
Gram is so silly. He does not realize that bell around his neck is a give away when he is doing bad things. Glad the boys have an Uncle. He can teach them more about eating!
Love it, love it! Folks who say sheep are dumb don't know, do they? What a funny guy!
There is always one. And if it involves food, it's usually the same one. I assume his excuse is that he can't read?
Clearly the chicken was supposed to be the lookout and failed due to being easily distracted. "Look! A bug!" Poor Graham - things are always harder when you can't find good help.
Graham thinks he is a chicken and not a sheep! :-)
His little helper failed, but that makes Graham all the more adorable! :-)
Have a lovely day!
Love, Ineke
Oohhh! My mouth dropped open. What a bad boy.
I swear that it's never the sheepies fault but the chickens. Those chooks will lead any sane animal astray!!! and they'll just look at you with those little beady chicken eyes as if to say "who me?"
I love how you understand sheep:) Sheep and Chickens I am going to love it here. The sign says it all. B
Oh well, if you can't beat it, eat it. And Grammy, that's some kinda posterior you've got going there. Might want to stick to grass. Just sayin.
Just finished my beer and thought the whole thing was hilarious. It was, wasn't it?
