Holding Down The Porch

And practicing some cat contortionism.

Hopefully it will cool down enough today that Comby won't have to belly up to a cool flower pot. I think we are all more than ready for summer to be over.

LOL. Sweet kitty knows how to stay cool. I was trying to choreograph a rain dance last night. 98 out there today and supposed to be over 100 tomorrow. And we live in Oregon where rain is plentiful all winter. :) But i'd like some rain now, please. Then there's the saying, be careful what we wish for. Right? I've read that their fur insulates kitties from the heat as well as the cold. I'm glad about that.

Aww, what a cutie!
Can't say I'm ready for summer to be over. Winters are brutal here.

Love those pictures. Cat's do seem to find the coolest places.
Our summer has had a long stretch of hot, hot weather and our cat has found the concrete, in a shady place, below the back porch to be her favorite "spot".
Comby looks like a really happy cat.

Love these pictures. Comby looks so happy and comfy, but also the contrast of silver shiny watering can, fuzzy orange fur and the pebbly stone sheep make it so interesting.

Hmmm, you must have been lying on the porch too to get this view.....
