Blossom's BFF Betsy

They are always together. That iPhone picture the other day was not a fluke. Well, maybe that exact pose, but any time I have a few extra minutes, I know I can count on Betsy and Blossom to go out and play and maybe I'll get lucky.

Betsy almost missed this trip, but she was not about to let those crazy chickens take over.

And off they go on a big adventure.

Or sometimes they just relax.

While Blossom eats some clovers.

"Uh oh, Betsy. Who's coming?"

I love the exchange of looks between Hank and Betsy.

Sweet friends.

Absolutely priceless! That (incredibly beautiful!) Calico cat, sure does like Blossom...

I love the Betsy exchanging looks with Hank shot as well.

Seeing Blossom and Betsy reminds me of my old cat Ziggy. He used to go out to visit the ewes on the pasture, and they would all circle around him. He would greet each in turn, either bumping their heads with his, or rubbing under their bellies. Once greeted, the ewes would go back to grazing, and Ziggy would go back to cat business. Still makes me smile to think about it.

A taste of heaven is Equinox Farm, where the "lion" lays down with the lamb.

Oh my, another blog post tied with heartstrings! So happy Betsy and Blossom are friends!
There is a book, “Unlikely Friendships”, which explores this very topic. Excellent read and photos.

That is the cutest thing ever. I hope everything is going well with all the animals. My baby sheep are doing really good. I have been giving them graham crackers like you said.
