I was sitting out in the field with the sheep a couple weeks ago and "the little darlin'" wandered over to bite and punch me say hi. It looked like she had some dirt stuck to her knee, but when I tried to pick it off it wouldn't come. I looked closer and..."WHAT THE BLEEP IS THAT?!?"
Normally sitting out in the field is a pleasant, relaxing way to end the day. The sheep are grazing, birds are settling in for the night, Hank (June wasn't here yet) sitting on the hill nearby...and Maisie has two horns growing from her knee.

Of course she does.

I'm going to place the accompanying picture down screen a bit so in case you don't want to see it... ;-)

This is a keratoacanthoma and apparently nothing to worry about...

Except it's Maisie...

And it sure looks like two horns...

Two devil horns?!?

Only Maisie could think of something like this..... :-) :-) :-)
So fitting. ;-)
Priceless!
Well...that’s a new one for the books! Happy Halloween!
Will it go away? It seems strange. Have a great day.
OMW Only you would Maisie!
How weird is that?!!!
Must be MM's idea of a Halloween costume... Must be. Really? Naah. What the hay!?!
Boo!
Be sure to lock your doors, bolt your windows, and leave garlic about the house. Find a Catholic (or Orthodox, or Anglican) priest to give you some holy water and spray Miss Maisie with it. Liberally.
Not superstitious, just careful .
Oh dear sweet Maisie! I'm sure glad it's not serious.
Can they be snipped off? Makes me think they would hurt if they hit you...sharp little things.
My first thought was to cut them off as well, bearing in mind that I know nothing about sheep barring what I read here so, maybe don't take my advice. They might bleed? IDK.
I was also just thinking how, if we lived close to you, I would hug a sheep so hard!
Typical! Something unique for Maisie.
Of course it's Maisie....
Of course it is Maisie who else could it be:)
