Keeping Honest Dogs Honest

Or keeping a puppy from doing a little freelance electrical work behind the barn ;-).  At least the first water heater wasn't plugged in yet when she "experimented".

Even though June is as big as a moose, she's actually not quite 8 months old.  Still a puppy.  The lightweight plastic tube covering the electric cord of the original tank heater was no match for her moose sized teeth.  Saint Tim's heavy duty metal and wire contraption ought to keep her honest...and safe.

Winter is almost here.  We are ready.  Or at least I am.  Saint Tim's already dreaming of summer ;-).

Set them up so they can't fail. Good job, Saint Tim! Looks very tidy, not just cobbled together. Miss June needs another bone. ;-)

What's a poor teething puppy to do?

It always amazes me what they can get into.

Very wise. June must learn *safely!* that she is not an electrician. Kudos to St Tim.

Cover a pop bottle with an old sock and tie the sock in a knot...that will keep her out of trouble part of a day. Nice job on the fix! Your Saint Tim is a gem:)

Puppies gotta bite stuff! :-) Just, we hope, not stuff that is bad for them (or wrecking something that we still need to use!).

Nice job, St Tim! Puppies have a way of pointing out "safety" issues that might need attention :-)

puppies do love to get into stuff they should not be nosing around. I believe no one is getting to those electrical lines now!!
