Rocket Lambs!

Remember this post about Rocket, "the wool ram" at Final Frontier Farm?  Here are two of his babies, born yesterday.  Two very pretty ewe lambs and their very good momma :-).

"What the heck just happened to me?"

"That was just crazy!"

"It's okay."

"I'm your big sister.  I'll help take care of you."

Love your captions! That could very well be what newborn lambs are thinking.

The little black ewe is so bewildered. I love her ear rotations ("What are all those sounds? Smells? Can I get my back end to move?") What a little sweetie. I'm reaching for the kleenex as much about her as about the dump of pollen Mother Nature has given us.

Thanks for posting these. Any way we could have a Little Black Ewe Lamb update, mabe a video of her nursing, complete with fast-spinning tail- or hopping about? Or curled up on Mum?

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwww.......................

Every time you show me fleeces (I went and looked back at that Rocket + girlfriends post), it makes me hungry to get my hands into raw wool..................

:-) I love all of them, from long and curly to short and crimpy to medium and lofty......

Wish I could call dibs on those two fleeces, black and white. Just think of the possibilities?!?
