"...I do always sleep with a chicken on my back. How can you tell?"
Poor Boudreaux. Hope no one was planning on spinning his fleece next spring ;-). Speaking of fleeces, I think I've got a good working list of the fleece reservations, but just to be sure, if you have already reserved a fleece, please shoot me a reminder email so I can "check it twice".
Also, I have six Farm Calendars and four Lamb Camp calendars left if anyone is needing something to flip to tomorrow. Well, I won't be able to get it to you overnight... ;-). Again, just email me.
I'm looking forward to the new year. I always do, but this year is especially exciting. Do you know why? Leave your answer/guess in the comments on the main blog and I'll do a drawing for something fun at the end of the day tomorrow, January 1, 2015 (gotta start practicing!)

It is because you decided that Maisie should have a mini-Maisie in 2015, perhaps?!😍 Love Maisie! Happy New Year, Sara, to you and all the members of your farm family.
Um, no. That's all we need, a Mini Maisie :-o.
I tell you, that chicken is the perfect accessory to Boudreaux (as far as coloring, that is)... I don't know, but I WANT to know! Does that count??? A very happy, healthy, fun, wonderful New Year to you and all yours, Sara!
SWEET!
How about a couple of little "Hanks!"
Happy New Years!
because you have KATE to share it with??!!?! :-)
because... no clue but I hope its a great one and each one of your hopes and dreams become reality. Thanks your photos and blog brighten my days!
If I could speak Chinese!
2015 being the Year of the Sheep?
Being the Year of the Sheep.... even MORE fiber! :-) And more fiber stuff! :-D
Yay for the year of the sheep!
We'll, if you getting into practice was a clue...more giveaways in 2015? But how do you ship free sheep hugs? =o)
The start of lambing? (But that is every year.)
Opallady's guesses:
More land
Free vehicle
More help (a farm club)
An inheritance from a distant but rich relative
Because..... It's RAM year!!!!
Just because I think we need to be perfectly clear here....2015 is the year of the sheep/goat/ram. And that's for all of us who have goats as well as our beloved sheep. Don't have a clue what your news is..but can't wait to hear!
I know....are you planning to visit my farm in Vermont over the summer so we can sit and knit while looking out over the Green Mountains??
I like your thinking! :-D
I have no idea...Sheep Trials...Sheepdogs...maybe you are starting a new adventure! Whatever it is I know you will have fun! :)
My guess is a vacation;) What ever it is I hope it is wonderful and brings you joy. Happy and healthy wishes for 2015 for everyone at Equinox.
I was going to say because it's the year of the sheep, but that seems to be a popular guess...
Is it a milestone birthday for someone on the farm?
Perhaps someone is with child?
My Guess: Handy has been gone a while now. It's time.
EVERY year at Equinox Farm is the Year of the Sheep. ;-)
Besides that, I'm going to guess you're starting a new venture - maybe a book? With Hank and all the farm characters? (If that's not it, it should be!). Haha.
Because that sheep that was knitting a scarf on the Year of the Sheep stamp twelve years ago, finally finished the scarf and is wearing it on this year's stamp? It gives us hope that we will finish all the lurking projects and have a beautiful and useful thing instead of a yarny pile of guilt?
Great picture! :)
My curiousity is peaked! I can't wait to find out! Since I've only been reading your blog about a year now, I am afraid I don't have a clue as to what it is. But if I were to guess, I'd guess you are going to be doing a project with your photography, or your beloved sheeps, or a combination of both! Or, perhaps something tied into a charity? Whatever it is, I wish you and your whole big family a very Happy New Year (and sending a special petting/ear scratching to Comby!) =^..^=
Warm Regards, Lisa in Oregon
No Idea...being featured in a fabulous knitting/fiber arts magazine:) Your photos always take me home in my memory.
Thank you.
I'm guessing that it will be the publication of a lovely book of your photographs, paintings, and stories -- for children of all ages :-)
Pretty please? With sugar on top!?
Because it's the Year of the Sheep, and you have Kate, and this year was the Year of the Horse, and.... ;-)
You have even more energy this year and will blog more including more photography!
Have a wonderful year of the sheep, lots of sunshine, and rain when you need it!
Wow, you guys...maybe I need to re-evaluate my new year resolutions!
A new tractor/vehicle for the farm? A llama? A teaching position? Horseback riding lessons? I give up but I'm sure whatever it is will make us all happy for you!!
I think you know that whatever you do, you will get loads of support. Reading your stories and looking at your photographs is a special part of my day and I'm sure that everybody here agrees with me. Happy New Year!
Pregnant? :0)
I'm going to ban you and Alice from the blog!!! :-o
Hey, I said "someone ". .... Could be family or friend
ROFLMHO!!!
LMAO also........guess we can nix that idea ;) whatever it is WE will be happy with it because it comes from YOU!! I'll bet that chicken thinks she has found a fleece comforter. Nice.
:-D
Well, I also just don't know, give us a clue!? ............ however I enjoyed starting the New yr putting up my Lamb Camp & Farm Calendar at home.
