Rhinebeck Wrap Up - With Puppets!

20 and I had a great time at the New York Sheep and Wool Festival, more commonly known as "Rhinebeck".  It would have been hard to have a more perfect weekend!  Great weather, great company, great workshop, great shopping, great food, great music, great sweaters everywhere...  You get the idea ;-).

If you missed the Twitter feed (you don't need an account to see it) you may want to go back and watch much of it unfold.  The pictures of 20 on Sunday are especially fun :-D.  I was planning on re-posting them all here, but I'm so far behind getting things caught up and ready for Hug a Sheep Day this Saturday that I'd better stay busy and stop playing on the internet.

I will share one of my favorite highlights from the weekend though - a darling puppet show running nearly non-stop at the Swift River Farm booth.  20 and I enjoyed visiting with Deborah McDevitt, not only the mother of Dulcie and Pearl, but also the creator and animator of their puppets.  Let's meet them!

Do you think Miss Maisie might need her very own puppet? :-D

Yes, Miss Maisie needs her very own puppet! A puppet with a red cape:-).

Just make sure she does not drink any wine before she goes on the stage:-)!

I tried to get the kids to watch the puppet show, but we had separated from our herd. They were much more interested in finding the rest of the group than anything I had to show them. I loved the pictures of 20 on your twitter feed.

Of course Miss Maisie needs a puppet!!!

Well Maisie could use a puppet to tell her own story about getting up every two hours for a bottle!!

Yes, she must have her own puppet. Absolutely.

No matter how long I stay away, whenever I get a chance to pop over here in the wee hours of the morning I am SURE to leave with a big smile!

This is LOVELY!

As a children's theatre director I am absolutely smitten!

Hugs to you and Maisie!

I wonder why you would even ask if Miss Maisie needs her own puppet? Of course she does, with a replica of her lovely little pink coat too.
