Watch Your Step

Usually on a farm that means to look down ;-).  This time of year...you'd be happier to keep your eyes up.  Don't walk between two trees!

Great shot !
I know I'm usually not bothered much my spiders but getting a face full of web and looking smack at one of those big Autumn spiders on your cheek ...
Eeek even for me !!

Great photo. I have what they call cobweb spiders here, they don't do big fancy webs, just a strand or two of web, hard to see or they do such fine webs could don't see them until the light is just right or they collect dust. That reminds me I have one I need to get the vacuum cleaner out to get it off my 9 ft. ceilings ....

The morning dew on cobwebs sure brings out their beauty. I have lots of them here!

What a great Fall capture! With those menacing dead branches lurching over the spiders web all you need is a a sign that says "Beware!". This would be great at Fear Fest!

Of course the horse in the background kinda dilutes the fear factor ;-)

I think the spider is trying to compete with you on the spinning knitting display. have you got an extra blue ribbon to give her for "best entry for beginning spinner of less than year?" She is probably faster, too. Humbling to be outdone by an Arachnid ;-)

ah, stalking the wild spider - you captured the sun perfectly in that small web of architecture!

and of course everyones comments makes me remember timber cruising in Wisconsin in the year of the tent caterpillars..green green green little worms everywhere at every height and their sticky webs and yes, we HAVE TO WALK THROUGH THAT.

have you ever washed squished green caterpillars out from under your armpits? *shudder*

Oh my gosh, the spiders are working hard HERE, too!

I saw a spider today, but didn't see the web. The spider looked like she was sitting in mid-air. So I knew the web was there..... That spider was a big one, too. Body the size of a reasonable-size pea..... But not very long legs. Shorter legs than I think of for a web spider.....

I'm not crazy about walking face-first through spider webs, but would rather encounter the web with my face than the spider herself!

So pretty Sara! That web looks like it is floating.

We're getting a lot of those around here too, and I hate to ruin their little works of art!

I would instantly turn into a ninja if I walked through that. :)

At first I was thinking "I don't know which is worse - what you get on your foot or walking into that spider web" then I read 'gowestferalwoman's post and I'm like "GROSS!" That one beats all.
