Good Morning!

iPhone

This was actually yesterday morning.  It had cooled way down during the night and the fog was thick.  Last night it didn't cool down and the air was hot and heavy.  Miserable.  Now it's raining.  If I can hold on for a couple more days, the worst of summer will be behind me.  I hope ;-).

oh Sara, trade ya .......... I am still looking at least 6 more weeks of summer. Last night the sky was turning an ugly brown from all the smoke from the Rim Fire. Wind has shifted and is now blowing the smoke south. I hate summer too, but hang in there if I can do it you can.

Rim Fire update last night was at 213,414 acres and only 35% contained, going to be a long summer for our firefighters too.

I love that fence/web photo.

You feel about summer the way I feel about winter, but even I feel lucky about the weather this summer. I could probably count the number of days we've gone over 85 on my fingers. Amazing. I know it gets a lot hotter further south. I'm hoping for a long, mild Indian summer as well. Could I be that lucky? Ha, doubt it.

Hoping for rain for Tombstone and northern CA.

Awesome capture of life on the farm through the view of a fence spiderweb!!! Love the defining lines as well. Charlotte would be so proud.

Spider webs look so cool thru a lens. It had gotten real dry here, grass yellowing, flowers fainting and pleading for water. Day before yesterday it began to storm and with brief breaks has continued to do so. Now it's crazy hot and humid, like the rain forest. But like you, I look forward to fall like a child looks forward to Christmas!

Oh I agree, summer, ugh, OK OK so we need it but, it is to be 96 today and our 'normal' is 78!!! Love the bells, must get some sheep bells for my dogs, they have small cow bells and they only 'clunk'.
Nice spider web shot.

You can almost hear Hank sigh, and think, "oh, cripes, she's putting me on video again. I better get up and provide some action. Shoot."
