Up With The Chickens...Sort Of

"So there you are.  How's the water this mornin'?"

"Ooof!"

"Yep, looks a little low."

"At least it's still fairly cool.  Boy, it's sure been hot lately."

"Lady, you gotta wait your turn."

"So where you goin' now?"

"Away from you.  You talk too much!"

So, did you answer them? :-)

(I'd get up with these girls too!)

I think they are heading to the wool house for a dust bath in the flower bed!

Don't you just love when you can hear their conversations? And ever since I saw Chicken Run I hear English accents from chickens.

Hmmmmm ...makes me wonder what you put in your coffee this morning, or drank last night that makes you think you can talk to the chickens early in the morning and have them care. Hahahahaha!

Even your chickens are cute.

You caught the awkward half jump half flap perfectly - then I can imagine the shake of the feathers back to elegant and unruffled. Such personalities!

They are beautiful birds. Great shots.

I certainly can relate to the socially awkward autistic chicken vibe going on there...
