Queen Of The Wicker

Maisie had a great day yesterday. She's been getting stronger every day - finally - and when the sun came out she happily wandered out on the porch to play for awhile. I took advantage of her happy exploring and swept up loose hay and steam mopped the kitchen, periodically peeking out to check on her.

Where's Maisie? ;-)

There she is :-D.

"I'm right here!"

"Defending my territory from those naughty cats!"

"I had to wear braces on my legs and they didn't fit good and I couldn't get up or down and I couldn't sleep and momma was not happy about that cause she said I needed to sleep more than any lamb ever so she took them off and I was real happy about that, but then today they put some different braces on my feets and yuck, they're better, but I sure wish I didn't hafta wear them but maybe just at night when I'm sposed to be sleeping but what I really want to do is duck through the gate and race around the house really, really fast chasing my mom until she says she's too old for this craziness and then I hafta go back to bed but here's a secret, when it's the middle of the night you can get by her pretty fast and run around until she catches you ;-)."

Probably influenced by Betsy.  Sigh.  I'm getting too old for this craziness.  We're headed back outside to play and nap in the sun before the rain comes back tomorrow.  She ought to sleep well tonight ;-).

Adorable, adorable, adorable--can't think of a better word. Does Maisie
want her aunt Eleanor come and wrap her legs for her?

Well Miss Sara....I have a feeling you are pretty pooped. Maisie is looking good and I believe her legs will improve with age. Adorable pictures! Hello Saint Tim!

It is so much fun to read about Maisie and the progress she is making. She is so darn cute! I would sit and watch her all day... and never get anything accomplished! I'd even watch her sleep!

Maisie may have leg issues, but she is cute as a button and happy and finally growing more like she should. Good job! She was a slow starter but she's going to make up for lost time now! What a sweet little face. Keep the Maisie coming!
