Running back to the house. She's not much on going outside even on a good day. When it's cold and she's had enough (about two minutes) she heads for whichever house is closest. I haven't had the heart to explain the whole sheep living in the barn thing.

I wondered what Ms. Maisie would think of the snow. When did you plan on telling her about the barn thing? Maybe when she is Blossom's size???
So, will Maisie be the first house broken sheep to live in the house full time?

Maisie is getting to be quite the fashioneasta (sp?) Maybe when the weather warms up and you spend the nights in the barn with her on the cot she will get used to the barn thing.
Love her pink coat..very pretty! Lambs belong in the house..at least while it is snowing..a winter lamb could be quite an adventure for you with the barn thing and all:)

She is so super adorable! I just want to hug her. :) And hug her some more.. and tell her how awesome she is. And that she looks all cute and snuggly warm in her puffy coat! :) Okay.. i'll stop now. lol.
Dear Sweet Maisie! You are developing quite a wardrobe... your Mama has such good taste. We finally got some serious snow at Skoog Farm and you wouldn't like it at all.

Oh gosh - I just found your blog. Sitting home with the flu missing Christmas parties and thought I'd do some blog hopping. Your blog is AWESOME (and well worth the time on the couch)! I'm already in love with that sweet Maisie and I'm looking forward to reading about all your other critters!

Maisey, the puffy coat does not make you look fat:-), and there are matching booties for such divas! A kinder cot would be a perfect first bed till you can reach the Blossom sized cot to get through the long winter's night at least until Spring :-)

I haven't been on my blog for ages so I right away came to my favorite blog.. Oh this is so sweet. Maisey is such a sweetie..all dressed up with a pink coat..It was so fun to read your past posting and just imagine what it would be like to have a small lamb to take care of,,I especially enjoyed reading where Maisey went to church and you held her while playing the piano... Sweet.

I wouldn't explain the barn thing yet. She only gets to be a kid once. Let her enjoy her childhood with no worries. They grow up so fast! I think i've asked his before but can you potty train sheep? Do they go to the door and bleat when they 'need' to go out?

Pretty in Pink comes to mind. So does adorable, eat-her-up-with-a-spoon...she's got plenty of time under her heat lamp on soft blankets and laps before she needs "the talk".

Don't tell her about the barn thing until after Santa comes. Maybe she will get another new coat. She is sooo cute. I miss my lambs being little. They have outgrown their Momma. Merry Christmas to You and Maisie
