Stupid Sheeps

Won't ever do what you want 'em to do (grumble grumble).

Wouldn't this photo be awesome with some sheep grazing amid the early morning sunbeams?

Random.org picked It's A Small Town Life, In Sheep Clothing and thekitchensgarden as book winners. Please drop me an email and let me know if you are interested in one of the books and, if so, which book you'd like. If you aren't interested, don't worry. We'll draw another number :-).

Sheep would have made for a nice pastoral scene, but who can argue the beauty of sunbeams?
The sheep probably hit the snooze button, the rumpus to the field will begin soon enough :-)

the addition of sheep would make it rather perfect, but it's still a lovely scene! I love early morning light!

I love the scene even without the sheep. So pretty.

I think they were still sleeping....

you could have plopped 20 down in the middle of that meadow...

I'll bet they are afraid they might get sucked up to a space ship, so they avoid all sunbeams. Makes perfect sense.

I've come back to enjoy this photo several times. The first time I saw it, I thought... Windberg. The artist, Dalhart Windberg.

Beautiful, Sara. I appreciate your art, even without sheep ;-)

You know...it must be "Sheep Telepathy". My sheep won't do what I ask them to do either.

I think I hear them snickering when my back is turned.
