It is so. hot. All the sheep look like blobs, laying in front of the fans.
I look like a blog too, but as I'm the one operating the camera... ;-).
Sherman.
And his pillow.
Boudreaux, using his ear as a pillow. You can just barely see it in front of the blob.
Let's bust out the wide angle and include Graham Lamb.
"Stick it, lady!"
Our fearless Tour de Fleece leader. Nice decoration there, Petunia :-/.
"Stop throwing straw on our backs. You are getting us in troubles!"
Good girl, Lila!
She's maintained her interest in law enforcement.

Our dogs are doing the same thing--If you want to find the coolest spots in the house, you'll have to move one of them! :-)
I hope you're staying cool and enjoying your weekend!
Yep...that's about how I'm feeling too.
Exactly how I feel. It has been over 90 in Boston for a few days and we are all ill-equipped to deal with it. Most people in the city don't have air conditioning because we aren't rich enough to afford luxury condos and also, we live in 19th-century buildings. Personally, I can't wait until it gets back to highs in the 70s and my little tower fan is plenty to keep my apartment cool.
Until then, I will be laying in a blob in front of the fan like your sheep.
How are the horses doing? Can they be hosed down?
Its 99 deg here ...yikes!
It IS HOT!!! If there is a tree in the field - would think that would be cooler if there was a breeze. But then again--- you have those huge fans!!
Very hot here too. They say "but it's a dry heat". Yeah, right.
you sheep have fans? Wow! Spoiled woolies! They do look like blobs don't they? Fat and happy....and hot.
Can you imagine wearing fur in the heat? Poor sheep. They need air conditioning... come on... or a swimming pool... or you could get a spray bottle and spritz them every few hours. Ha,ha!
Love Graham lamb's expression.
Its too darn hot for June! We are expecting 95 deg today in Tennessee, might be a good day to be in the river..:-)
When it comes to heat, I sure feel for my animals the most! Not only do the contend with the heat but also the annoying flies!
i also am impressed that your sheep have fans, but we are not that hot here yet so I do not feel too awful.. when it is really hot i let them into the root cellar, it is like 10 - 15 degrees cooler down there, today they are under their tree.. c
102 degrees here today and we are all wilting, including the sheep. Thinking I might have to buy a kiddie pool for the alpacas!
Everyone looks warm..but resting comfortably in the heat..what I would call the lazy days of summer. Good for you that they have fans..sheep as good as yours should be spoiled. I enjoyed Lila's law enforcement story:)
Even here we are melting for hot temperature! It could be my post...exept for the picture of the sheep! We are up from 35°C to 40°C...I have to make my sheep take a shower. Tomorrow we are waiting some rain, I hope it will be refrescing for everybody.
Lila hardly looks like your bottle bay from last year anymore. She's all grown up. Is she going to be bred this year?
I am always so comforted to know that there are your blobs, er, sheep out there. It makes me feel less alone when I view my own blobs, er, sheep.
