Lamb Candy

I've spent the last two afternoons working on Mama's yarn. Blossom still needs some momma time (and momma could use some Blossom time, too ;-) so that worked out perfectly.

Such as clever little lamb.

Who loves yarn (more pictures of that to come :-).

My wheel was sitting on one of Charlotte's handwoven rugs - the one that looks like it's covered in little sheeps. Blossom thought that was a great nap spot. For awhile.

But next to momma is best.

Little heart breaker with hangy-down sleepy ears :-).

Asleep at on the wheel.

Just the best company.

And at the end of the day, still ready for more.

Mama spun up beautifully. I took some pictures in progress and a short video as well (that a couple Adventure Chickens video-bombed). More tomorrow.

The last shot is my favorite. How is she doing in the barn? Does she get out with some of the others now?

Saint Tim would have loved last nights dinner...leftovers tonight if he could just get here in time. Maybe you and Blossom could come along.

Blossom is the sweetest and most beautiful little lamby. I envy you.

Blossom is so cute! My bottle lamb loved to chew on my wool while I was spinning it. My lamb went back to live at a friends farm yesterday and I miss him so much.

What warm and comforting pictures. I especially like the second one where Blossom is touching the yarn with her nose. With such an inviting setting I'd be out there ALL the time.

Great capture of Blossom with her momma and Mama's yarn. Pictures tied with heart strings to be sure!

I think she is more puppy than lamb.

I wouldn't be able to get any work done. Blossom would be in my lap the entire time.
