Actually pretty clever! None of the following pictures, SOOC (straight out of camera), were anything you'd even keep on your phone's camera roll for any reason other than sentiment.
I've never been too in to highly processed photographs. Instagram is super popular right now and I've played with it some, but haven't found it as fun as I thought I should. Mr. Science (aka 20's Uncle John) turned me on to the PowerSketch app the other day and that got my attention a bit.

Blossom had her last CDT booster shot Monday and got really punky afterwards, running a 105 temp and feeling powerful pitiful. Her breathing was a little labored and after the scare from a couple weeks ago, I didn't want to take any chances so I pulled my cot out and camped in the barn with her. She crawled onto the bed and slept there all night. This was my view the next morning.
She felt some better in the morning, but still not her normal self so I ended up sitting out there with her most of the day because that seemed to really help her. And after trying to sleep with a big girl lamb on my legs and a furry catwrapped around my head on my pillow the night before, I kinda needed a catch up day ;-).

All day long Blossom would get up to eat, but after each time climbed right back into bed.

I thought it was sweet how she kept curling up next to me and tried to take some pictures with my iPhone. With the bright light outside and the darkness in the barn, the pictures were cute, but nothing even remotely special.
PowerSketch
The 'rice paper' filter on the PowerSketch app could pick up all sorts of detail. Hmmm...
PowerSketch
Can't remember which filter this is (picture from the other day), but I like it too.

I then started looking for what else might be out there in app world and tried the Tadaa app and the fun began. Each picture that really wasn't anything great...or even decent, honestly...with a little post processing, has become some of my favorite pictures I've taken.

Now I get it. I think. I'm probably still not doing it right because most of those sites are more like Facebook for photography and I'm not into that nor do I have time to add photo networking to my to-do list, but I'm enjoying learning to use the programs. And I'm excited to be taking pictures with my iPhone that I really like finally.
tadaa
And it made finding Chicken No sitting on a bazillian eggs this morning almost fun.
Almost.

Have you tried any of the many iPhone camera apps? What have you liked? What else is fun or helpful that those of us who are normally too busy to play with our phones should know about?

Feel better Blossom!!
I don't have an iPhone but I think I need to get one, at least for the pictures!
I hope your little girl is feeling better!!
I do have an iPhone, but haven't tried any of the aps. I guess I need to experiment a bit!
I have an Android and have played around with Instagram. Kind of fun, but I am not really hooked. You are a really good lamb mommy :)
No cell phone for me ~ there's no signal out in the boonies where I live. Blossom is SO lucky that you're her Mom! Imagine if she was just one of the flock...
LOVE Chicken No!
;-)
I hope you have a nice weekend!
Poor baby Blossom. Hope she's bouncing around soon. You must be getting tired.
What fun photos! I have an ancient cell that isn't even a photo phone...I'm trying hard not to have to learn a new gadget.
Hope the little one is better soon.
I don't have a phone..my husband has one I am not sure if he has ever taken a photo.. I do like that Power Sketch app..very cool. I hope Blossom is much better today ..poor thing:(
Droid here.. I tried many a year or so ago. I'll have to get back into it and take some photos. It was fun!
Power Sketch is a cool ap for the many things to see on your farm. What fun that would be to use with colored pencils! Why, we could learn how to draw Hank, sheep, dogs, chickens, barns.... Very cool indeed!
I love my iPhone, but I haven't used any photo apps... I definitely need to try some!
And I must admit, I thought you were saying "Taada!!!" after each great photo.... doh! ;)
Hope Blossom is feeling better. Oh to get to sleep with a lamb; so cute!
Hope the wilted Blossom is in full bloom soon. Fun app!
Someone just told me about instragram the other day. I'm way behind the times. I know nothing.
Interesting pics, I'm guessing you need an I-phone (smart phone) to get the app? I'm an old fuddy duddy and my phone just makes calls..;-)
Hope the B monster feels better soon..
Im technologically mentally limited right now. but I know how to use a glue gun.
Get better Blossom; fight that crud once and for all!!!
