For this next weeks challenge I want you to photograph your interpretation of a transition……what comes to my mind is one that goes from the end of winter to the beginning of spring but you might want to do something uniquely different.
Well, an obvious transition on a sheep farm and what I'd originally planned for today's challenge is shearing. However, I was afraid if I posted too many days of fiber photos that Ed's head might explode, so I headed out for some budding blooms ;-).

Lovely shots, I took some of our pear tree too but forgot to post...what kind of lens did you use to take these shots?
I love the grape hyacinths. Very illustrative of the challenge topic. Also noticed the obligatory strand of fiber on the flowering crab blossoms :-)
Now I really have spring fever! We are about 2 weeks away from tulips and daffodils, but when it starts, there's lots! These are all beautiful shots- nice bokeh too.

These are nice captures! The bokeh is super cool, and I love to have more rain here in the southland for all water our wildflower fields!
I love Spring blooms! I miss Spring blooms. Not a lot of transition to see here in Florida. Thanks for sharing your early spring.

I can't speak for Ed, but I never get tired of shearing pictures! However, the blooms were nice too, especially that first one. It was breath taking! SO enjoyed this glimpse of springtime!

That's a 100mm f/2.8 macro lens. I love how sharp it is. I use it as much as I can, not just for macros.
