Milk Mouth And Other Porch Happenings

Between the milk foam around his mouth and that big, fat tummy, I think he's going to find it difficult to get much baba sympathy ;-).

The peaceful porch.  Even Betsy and Eli are getting along...for now.  I bought that $18 bale of fancy chopped hay so he'd have some fresh plastic to chew on.

And jump on.

Baa Baa Bad Sheep

We knew Andy was a fence rogue (that's why we have him ;-), but I have to say I'm shocked that four year old (and fat) Baba has joined him.  I had to look back to make sure of her age.  Remember her sleeping on that cot?

Unfortunately Blossom can get under the fence one way (down hill), but can't fit going back the other way.  Andy comes and goes as he pleases.  Baba gets stuck by herself and then Kate and I have to go out and open the gate so she can go "home".

Needless to say we'll be putting up some extra fencing this weekend ;-).

My Favorite Time Of Day

Comby, Kate, Weaslie, Hank, Bullwinkle and I walked up the hill to visit with Stella the other evening.  The sunset is always so pretty from up there.  While it doesn't seem like that much of a hill, between the "valley" and the trees around our house and barn, we miss the amazing show every night.  Stella doesn't get to see the amazing moon rises over her house and hill though, so it's an okay trade :-).

I love the sunbeams shining on some of our sheep.

That's Chocula looking over at us and Baba Bad Sheep (Blossom) on the far hill aka she somehow wedged her fat little body under the fence because there is apparently not enough grass in this field for her ;-).

All I've Gots Is My Blankie And An Empty Milk Jug

"My mom is doing stuffs for the Kentucky Sheep and Fiber Festival and hasn't been playing with me enough or taking long naps or giving me enough babas so I found a milk jug in the recycling bin and an old dog bed and I'm just having to take care of myself and she said if I wasn't so cute we'd already be outside playing but she had to put my picture on the stupid computer."
