Walk With Me Wednesday

I could actually do a Wednesday Yarn Along post.  I finished the second sleeve.  I'm going to try to get it blocked today, but a. I really should be doing other things to get ready for this weekend and b. I'm not sure it will dry.   We sure needed the rain, but at this point, couldn't the rest of the week's forecast have waited until after the festival?

Still, if it's going to be cold and damp (which is actually perfect for a fall wool festival) it would be nice to have a long sleeve wool sweater to wear in the evenings (we are there until 10:00 p.m. :-o). Plus, it's technically advertising, right?  I usually say the sweaters are there for inspiration...but if it's for advertisement then I'm practically required to get it blocked :-D.

In the meantime, enjoy taking a walk with Hank, Tilly and Kate :-).

Spiders have been light this year :-(.

The bees are happy with all the fall flowers.

Liddy likes flowers, too :-).

Our walk out back inspired the sheep to come out.

I guess it was a good advertisement ;-).

I hope your sleeve dries today(a little heat in the wool house)? Everyone looks very content having an early autumn wander. It is still warm and very wet here today with much cooler weather tomorrow. The rain is most welcome though.

Just loved going for a walk with you today! Now if only Kai and I could come do a walk in person...it would be perfect!!

I think everyone needs inspiration to come out after the weather we've been having. Glad for your sake if it is damp and cool. It has been damp and HOT here, like the Amazon. Sheesh. Come on, October.

It's horribly humid here...and hot still. It's been raining like mad all day long and the streets are flooded everywhere. The rain has only just stopped mid afternoon but they are calling for more rain all week. I am envious of your beautiful walking weather.

Such a pretty walk. Could it the spiders have moved to NC. They are everywhere! I can't go out without walking into one of those big webs.

A beautiful walk :-) Fall colors are so warm, no matter the temperature. Good to see Miss Tilly and Kate out n' about with you and Hank. Hope you have a wonderful show this weekend ~ your sweater came out beautiful!

Even if your last sleeve is a tad damp, wear it anyway! Your body heat will dry it. Nice walk, no walkies for us, Teagan has 'growing pains', HATE it when a dog cries!! http://www.bonaforte.com/wandering-lameness-in-irish-wolfhounds/

Lovely walk. It raied so hard here this morning I could've taken my shower outside ( and scared the neighbors).

Liddy is so floriferously cute!

We could use some more rain. It was a wet year up until August and then it dried up. I always like to see what is going on in your farm.
