In Case You've Been Concerned About Betsy In The Cold

She's inside hibernating.

And in case you were wondering why there was cat hair on the outside of her bed...she's been just reaching over the edge to eat without even sitting up.

Comby and Eli have moved back into their heated condo on the porch.

They said they'd see you all in the spring.

Stay warm out there!

Glad to see she is taking it easy. The cold weather can be so harsh ;)

Just like my Rubenesque torbie, Faith! She lies down in front of the food dish (often her house-mate's, Tabitha's), extends a paw, swipes a few bits of kibble, and with the least possible effort and caloric expense, conveys it to her mouth.

Lately, she has also been trying to swipe my breakfast eggs. At this point, I am surprised she doesn't oink.

Such a smart kitty, that Betsy! I hope we don't have to wait all the way until Spring to see Comby and Eli again . . . .

Keep warm everyone! It's actually 30 degrees here in Oregon this morning, which is somewhat unusual for us near Portland.
