The first snow of the winter fall is almost gone. I just love to see sheep napping out in the winter fall sun :-).

An unbelievably huge thank you for all the calendar, card and other orders over the last couple of weeks. I think I have everything shipped (except wreaths and felted sheep - keep on me about them!), so if you haven't received your package from me, let me know.
I loved, loved, loved all the kind notes that accompanied many of the orders and payments, especially ones that reminded me of stories and pictures past, happy and sad. What a gift to treasure. The stories, yes, but also the reminders that show the stories stay alive for years and years. It matters.
After the long frozen winter of last year that had everyone scrambling for extra hay long before it was even close to being over, we decided to order an extra 100 bales of hay right up front. Saint Tim and Uncle John even added a new loft to hold it all.
It's all (even the extra 100 bales) paid for, once again, by you. Every. last. bale. And the cookie coffer is overflowing as well.
A humble thank you, thank you, thank you.
It matters.
It matters.

Blossom, alias Baba, alias Blimpo. I realize it all spreads out when you lay down, but... However, she's the one I'd snuggle up to in a snow storm.
I love looking at the pictures but the stories last in my mind a long, long time.
Great start on pictures for 2016 calendars. Glad you got hay put up for winter, but hope you have a mild one.
Oh my goodness, it's hard to believe that's little Blossom! What a big girl! And Baaxter is all grown up.
Oh I am so happy to hear your coffers are full and you are ready. Your photos are worth every cent. Hug B
Love all the photos of your sheep!
Baaxter should have a name change to Baaxter Black-No-More! I didn't realize that sheep could change colors, or that they can have undercoats with different colors. Always new stuff to learn.
Ahah! Good way to pay for your hay and cookies. Well deserved for turning out such beautiful calendars and work. Such talent!!!!!
B. Willard has just the most perfect expression on his face.
Thank the sheep, they are earning their own keep! Baaxter is quite the handsome fellow and oh my how Blossom has blossomed!
You have no idea how happy that makes me feel...hay PAID FOR!! B Willard, Baaxter Black and Ms Maisie........what a crew! Love those photos.
There is only one Maisie:-). All very beautiful sheepies.
That's a great post. By the way, is there any more of those calenders left? I'm gonna have to get me one if there is. I just love your pictures and the stories that go with them. You and your pictures are wonderful.
