Any Excuse For A Cookie Party

Picture heavy, but as I'm usually the one behind the camera, I don't have many pictures of me with the sheep and there are things I love about all of these shots.

I look like I'm giving clear directions on how this is going to work.  Everything completely under control - hahaha.  Silly Lila at my left elbow.

"Me Momma!  Don't forget me!"  Cute little Blossom.  And B. Willard ;-).

"Or me, Momma."  Ewen McTeagle, my big baby.

Graham had already had way more than his share of cookies by this point. Here I'm trying to sneak a cookie to Blossom.

Having to reach across him to sneak a cookie to Renny.  That poor, skinny sheep needed a cookie for Pete's Sake ;-).

And as soon as my back is turned...  Graham, Graham, Graham.

One of these sheeps is not like the other.

I don't really like to have my picture taken, but I'm glad to have these pictures, especially this one.  What a good dog.

Sweet little Blossom.  She looks like I'm reassuring her that she'll grow up to be a pretty sweater some day too.

She loves to have her face rubbed.

More Annabelly.

Look at these mug mouths...  Woolliam, Graham, Boudreaux.

And Ford.  I never thought he'd come around and join the cookie club, but I underestimated the power of the cookie.  Or at least watching all your friends eat cookies ;-).

  2. Yes, photos to treasure, even for the cameraphobic. :-)

And Renny? I don't know what she is, but that's no Shetland! Shetlands are SHORTER than Jacobs. (We won't talk about girth . . . ahem!)

  3. I see there was a reason to name him Graham (cracker)... and oooh, that Blossom, that face. Wonderful pictures and so nice to see you with your wooly, fluffy group.

  4. With her tiny tail, she has to have a goodly amount of Shetland in her. I feel pretty confident in a Shetland/Hampshire cross. Both breeds are common enough around here and the Hamp would give her the, um, larger size and account for her big, droopy ears :-).

  5. Renny, honey, we need to sign up for a program! I'll call Jenny for you. Yeesh.

  14. Okay, that cross I could see. There are other breeds in the Northern European Short-Tailed group with tiny tails that are bigger, though, like Finnsheep.

Regardless, that "tub of butter" has LANDED in a tub of butter -- I'm so happy for her that you rescued her!

  20. Well, they ARE called Graham Crackers, aren't they??? Blossom really has grown into a beauty. A very Texel-ish face, but still very dainty. If memory serves from my cookie feeding days, the last photo should be of you laying trampled in the dirt with hoofprints all over your back and empty wrappers strewn about...

  23. I'm not sure which pic is my favorite - the top one, the one with Blossom getting a face rub or the bottom one with Ford. Ford has lovely horns.

Lovely job with the sweater. May it keep you warm inside and out for many years to come.
