A spider with impeccable taste in home location.
I'd love to live in the middle of a beautiful, aromatic lavender plant.
In a house spun from gold.
At first she was shy, hiding from me as I sat down to take some pictures. As I moved a little left or right, she'd duck the other way. After a couple minutes though I guess I was perceived as Not A Threat and I think she was proud to show me her "finished item" :-). I believe she's a Jumping Spider.

Isn't she beautiful! What amazing images. Thank you for sharing.
OMG that is amazing!!
She does appear to be posing for the camera :-)
That really is an unbelieveable picture! Thank you!
Now that is some spinning! What a beautiful home she has made - and what big, bright eyes she has! All the better to.....
I appreciate the detail in the picture but I can't stand the subject!
Astounding series! That last photo gives me chills. Fascinating, and shudder-inducing at the same time.
Stunning capture in that last photo!
I think she is smiling with pride
Perhaps her name is Rapunzel ;-)
Card and calendar worthy.
Wouldn't that be the greatest place to winter over? Do spiders winter over? I love her little round house...kind of a spider geodome. Great shots. Kisses to the sheep. And dogs. And cats. Not the chickens.
Spooky spider! At first I thought it was on a leaf is that a nest? Creepy either way. But great shots.
Thank you for sharing these incredibly beautiful photos! I love the last one especially!
I've never thought of a spider as cute, but that is one cute spider!
Okay, I hate spiders but I have to admit that one is cute. By the way, your camera is AWESOME if it can take pictures that close.
It is so good to hear from someone who can appreciate a nice spider. I am quite fond of them myself, thanks for the lovely photos. That is just the way I like to appreciate lavender as well, it doesn't make me wheeze from this distance:)
Wow! I can see her through your photo better than I ever could with my own eyes. That's a treat. Thanks.
You captured some great detail!!! What a little beauty.
What great pictures!! I'm intrigued by spiders and I love to get pictures of them because they do seem to have a little personality, but I am a little nervous around them--Especially one that can jump--YIKES!!
I love her! She's gorgeous! One of the most photogenic spiders I've seen. And what a great capture of a tiny little story out in the garden. Thanks for the treat.

Very cool spider! Not like the one I found in my shower the other day.
