Let Sleeping Lambs Lie

Lila still loves to have a pillow...even if it is an old fence post.

And she loves her new friends. Notice Renny and B. Willard up by the fan. Much like Graham, Renny. always. gets. the. fan.

So poor Keebs has to wait until everyone leaves and then he moves over. No one argues with Renny ;-).

The girls - Renny and Ewenice - BFFs.

And the wonder dog. I think he's enjoyed being out with just his peeps. Even after all this time, there are a few oldsters in the main flock that don't like him. Normally I'll defend sheep intelligence. Normally...

I HAVE to pick up a fan for my sheep today! We're supposed to get four days of near 100 degree temps. :-(

Isn't it amazing how strong Renny has turned out to be? Her fleece looks wonderful as well!

Dear, dear Hank. LGDs are SO awesome!

I think wearing the green coat for so long gave Renny the Princess in Residence status. After what she went through in the searing heat last year, she deserves the primo spot.
Lila sure has gained in size and stature. Hard to believe she was once on your lap.
Glad to see that everyone appears to be getting along ;-)

Those lambs look so cute. Good thing they're staying cool...it's supposed to get really hot next week. Don't know if it's true or not but I HEARD that some of our animals at the fair died from the heat exposure. I hope it's not true, but I wouldn't be surprised.

What a perfect day to just sit and enjoy the life around you...

I just read about your new addition, I don't know if I've mentioned that cats were my first love and I've always had a place in my heart for the calico ones--I hope she's doing well and I hope you are too!!

Malcolm was surprised that they like the fan! They're smart though! Got to stay cool somehow!

WOW, everyone is looking just great. Lila is so big! They seem to be handling this terrible heat quite well. :)

We are so high in humidity here that I work with a fan on me so I understand your sheep.
Renny...she is one tough cookie in so many ways!
