Somebody told me that our animal friends have shorter lives than ours so that we can cherish more of them during our time here. Aria had a great life with you and you must have many, many good memories which will keep her close to you even when others come and share time with you.
Sara, my heart is with you. Sending hugs. Aria was so beautiful and loved! I know you'll be okay but the transitions are not always easy. Hang in there.
Oh Sara, I can only echo what Sheepmom said so very well. You can take some comfort from the knowledge that you gave her all the love, comfort and respect that any horse would dare to dream of. Love and gentle hugs to everyone in this difficult time.

28 years is a very long life for a horse....but I know it wasn't long enough. Very sorry....

Very sorry Sara, I know losing her is a terrible loss. Years ago I had to let my beautiful mare, Lady go at 28 as well.
