We are working our butts off trying to get all the farm work finally sort of caught up and setting up fans and hanging shade cloths... I feel like I'm on some sort of death march...in the Amazon. Here are a couple pictures left over from the weekend.
Sometimes it's just easier to let them go where they want. That shade does look pretty nice.
Who is that fat sheep?!?
Who still loves to sit under her favorite tree :-).

So sweet! Hey, you still going to Augusta? It's suppose to be HOT with a chance of showers. Let me know. I'm still trying to make up my mind. I'm a wimp. lol
Good grief! Looks like Renny is making up for lost time. What a chunk. :-) I'm so happy for her. It's hot and humid here too, and just miserable. Yuck.

Yay Renny!!! I assume that you are also providing ICE WATER for everyone?
Hey! What's this about Augusta? I'll be in Augusta the week of June 13 through 18. Actually, probably the 14 through 17. My Beautiful Baby Girl has already warned me that it's gonna be hot as HELL...
It just even looks hot in your photos. I can't believe that round-y little thing is Renny. Good for her! Looks like her fleece is finally growing in well too.
Augusta, Ky - Art in the Garden. Not THE Augusta ;-).
I didn't see Lila in the photos, but were you trying out some potential 'buddies' for her? Great to see Renny looking so healthy.
Renny sure is looking good!

Renny looks so good I wouldn't have recognized her if you hadn't said something! Sorry Texas weather has come to KY, but hell has taken over Texas so it had to move somewhere :-/
So green ~ so plump ~ and so busy!
I love it~
(I still have 2 more ewes to lamb- one delivering every day this week)
Good heavens! What has she been eating, pie? Look at the size of her. lol
It looks like Reny has resolved to never be hungry again Ever. Hopefully lots of that is wool?
... and Renny is not pregnant, right? She must have been terribly malnourished when you got her. She looks like the rest of your flock, well fed and content. Hugs to her ;-)
Thats Renny under the tree??? She's filling out nicely..:-)
I love the pals just chillin' under the tree together. Looks like it's not just Renny anymore, it's Renny the Round.
My Daisy would be the happiest sheep on earth if she could romp in those fields. You have a lucky family.
I have somehow been missing your blog posts--I've got to pay better attention (or not be so busy) because I really enjoy my visits and seeing what's going on in your corner of the world--Your photos are just lovely, but then you have some great subjects to take pictures of!!
I hope you have a great weekend!
Just catching up on some blogs. Poor Lila...gotta move on out of the house. Looks like the fiber festival was fun. My Granny Bee stitchery group would love to meet those crafty women friends of yours.

Ps - I think I've been to Cynthiana. I remember seeing that town on one of our trips south because of my name. I go by Cindy but it's really Cynthia.
