Just Like Fireflies

Actually, not really very much like fireflies...but they did appear to glow in the setting sun.  I didn't get a great picture of all of them floating around, but I do like this picture of Petunia and Renny grazing together with Buddy looking on.   Might be a fun puzzle :-).

Please post a picture with fireflies, if you can. I live too far south for the little lights now. I miss them.

If not fireflies, then what are they? Bits of ashes floating in smoke? Gnats?

Nice photo! I wonder what Buddy is thinking as he watches Petunia and Renny.

It's just that time of the year, isn't it? Bugs everywhere, but your photo shows the positive side of it.

Not sure what they are. We had a decent rain in the afternoon and I think that triggered something to hatch. There were millions of them. Didn't seem to be bothering anyone though and looked pretty with the sun filtering through them.

Renny is doing well, health-wise but her right back leg is really starting to give her trouble :-(.

I will try for a lightning bug picture with the big camera this evening.

It is a beautiful picture! I'm sure enjoying my calendar...just flipped over to July. The pictures are so pretty. I want a little Moorit lamb just like the one in your last post. :) It is adorable!
