A good sheep gone too soon. Be happy, Graham. You were an anchor in the flock and you leave an empty space and sad hearts. Hugs to thecrazysheeplady and St. Tim. And Hank. And all Graham's sheep buddies.

Ohhhh! Sad news. It took me a while to find some baby Graham "Lamb" pics because I started out following his tag instead of working back in years. duh! http://myfavoritesheep.blogspot.com/2009/05/graham-lamb.html

Oh no! What a shock! I am so sorry. I remember when he and Keebs were babies. When I saw his pic on this post, I thought "I wonder what Graham is up to?"

He was a real character.

Sending much sympathy.

I was so stunned to read the news that when I first commented I neglected to tell you how sorry I am for your loss. I am so very sorry and hope you are comforted in knowing what a wonderful life you provided for him and all your animal family members.

Stunned is the exact word for how I feel. That punk was supposed to live forever.

I put his bell on Andy, but I'm not sure if I will leave it. Hard to hear.

It's fun to look back at all the GL posts. He was one of a kind for sure.

So sorry to read about Graham. Your flock was my inspiration to purchase two Soay wethers last year and focus on spinning my own fleece in 2016.

Graham will be missed by all of us.

I am so sorry Sara. Graham was clearly a very special sheep with a large and vivid personality. Such friends always leave a huge whole when they leave us.

Sara, I am so sorry! He was one heck of a punk, but in a good way. I hope he taught Andy some of his tricks, so you will have an occasional reminder of the Graham Lamb Legacy.

Graham will be missed. Does the flock mourn his passing? I know how devastated my dogs are when they lose a pack member, but I don't know how sheep react. I am so sad for your loss - it really is a loss for all of us. He was blessed to have you and vice versa.

Oh no, I am so sorry :-(

I'm so sorry to hear this.

How did I miss this post, and see the other one first? How can we all bear not to see Graham again?

Shirley said...

Awwwwww really? So sorry. Dang it all. :0(

thecrazysheeplady said...

We put him down at the vet clinic so they didn't get a chance to see him. I have really been stressed about that as they DO know and understand, given the opportunity. I put his bell on Andy and several came over and punched on him at first. The bells all sound a little different so they had to know that was Graham's. :-(

Lori Skoog said...

Peace Sweet Graham. Sara, I know how special he was to you (as are all of your critters). Very sorry for your loss.

Jo said...

I'm so sorry to hear about Graham's passing. Sara. I enjoyed his antics; he had a large personality and an even bigger attitude. You are truly special to love and care for your farm animals the way you do. Warm hugs and blessings. Jo

Graham the Lamg thought he was cool.
He was curious about any tool.
He could manage fine wires by finding the pliers ,
And store bits of them in his wool.

Rest in piece, Buddy. You had a magnetic personality, and a sharp wit.

Patti said...

On some level they knew he was sick and understood. Such a sad story, but what great memories of your classy fellow. I cannot fathom the sad stories you don't tell us from your daily experiences farming. Thank you for sharing your life on this blog; I do so look forward to reading and yes, you have gotten me addicted to jigsaw puzzles of your sheep, dogs, cats...maybe one of Graham is in the works.
