Garden Guest

I've only seen a few monarchs this summer. Maybe they are just arriving in our area?  Wishful hopeful thinking...

You should be able to click to biggify these next shots to watch her slurp up some flower nectar :-).

Unfortunately, I have not seen any at all. However, I HAVE seen amazing shooting stars, so don't forget to check them out tonight. No moon and perfect shooting star conditions!!!

These photos are stunning! The composition, color, clarity and detail--all amazing. And, of course, who doesn't love Monarchs and pink flowers?! Thanks for sharing.

Magnificent captures.
Funny, that mother nature of ours...I have seen more monarchs here this year than ever before.
But my zinnias (and fruit trees and bushes) are not looking as lovely as yours thanks to bumper crop of Japanese Beetles this year.

What a great shot - catching her in mid-flutter! And the colors! And clarity! I'll be coming back to this post in January!!
