Soggy birdies! Too cute.

Do you put anything in your bird bath water to keep it from getting yucky? Or do you change it often enough that it doesn't? Maybe it's our water but mine turns orange and slimy. I scrub it out every few days but would love to have it last a bit longer.

Orange and slimy if I don't rinse or scrub it pretty much every day :-/. It's worth it though to see the birds enjoying it so much :-D.

I've been looking for a new top since that one's close to cracking and surely won't survive the winter. No luck so far. I keep a heater in it and the birds bathe all winter, surprisingly.

I never tire of seeing the birds in the bird bath .
They do look like they are having a great time cooling off.
