Winning Hearts Wherever She Goes

The vet clinic just called.  They decided that in lieu of Maisie's bill the other day we should just bring over a couple dozen donuts for the interns.  I can do that :-D.

"And I'll bring some Lamb Camp calendars as well!"

"Oh, that would be great.  They'd love them."

"How many are there?"

I need to take over 13 calendars.  I have exactly 13 calendars left.  I remember when Tim printed that last batch thinking we surely wouldn't need that many and hated the thought of wasting so much paper.  The God of Silly Sheeps...

Miss December

For the last few days I have been following all things Maisie. Your words, and actions, and the actions of so many others, in support of this silly amazing sheepie have really had me thinking seriously about love. why we love. how we love. how important it is and how we would all be lost without it. maisie is very much in my thoughts.

I am so happy! I know this all could cost so much...but...she is our Maisie....your Maisie, but you made her ours too
Bless those precious doctors and interns.....They will love the calendars! Do they know how many fairy godmothers she has?
still praying
bless you and Tim
you make the world a wonderful place

I tried to think of a way we could all "sign" a card for them and the folks at OSU, but I'm just not that tech-y :-/.

Big thanks to the vets... it is a very nice gesture. Now they will have a picture of Maisie to keep as precious memories, like people do for big stars fans. :D

This is such a nice gesture on their part!:-). And how about us sending you each one a few dollars and you then place a big order of donuts (and maybe coffee) from all of us?!:-)

Ah, more wonderful vets in the world. It is sure nice when true sheepie love (you) is recognized in all the right places. I love that picture of Maisie.

I think you should include a large framed photo of Maisie too for them to hang on their wall or a collage of photos showing her growing up process and include one of her with Betsy and Hank.

What an amazing vet to be so thoughtful.

I'd already made a thank you card with my favorite Maisie picture - that goofy one when she was tiny with all her teefers sticking out :-D. I asked Tim to print a couple of them yesterday so I could send to both clinics. He printed 15 because "I figure this won't be the last time you have to send a vet a thank you card for Maisie." ;-D

Very sweet to offer to start a donut donation fund, but hopefully we'll be able to cover these (one time, right?) costs....although...we ARE talkin' Maisie ;-).

Charmed us all she has, and isn't it serendipitous that you have 13 Calendars left? God loves Maisie too! All Creatures Great and Small...God Bless the Vets...they are all wonderful people.
I bet they don't know how famous she is or how many admirers she has:)

How wonderful that there are still those special kind of people in the world.

Perfect and wonderful! Too bad you are so far away or I'd suggest Voodoo Donuts. If you are ever out this way, we'll go and celebrate great, big-hearted vets!

Such a deal! I hope you are starting to feel a little better Sara. You have one boat load of support out there. Could you post the picture you are giving them? Hello to that very generous Saint Tim. I've used up all his Ranch Dressing and loved it.

I just had to share this – and the story of Maisie's visit to Hagyard – with Rick. Incredible!

Really heart warming that your vet is so gracious and kind. The Maisie chronicles seem to always have me teary at one end of the spectrum or the other!

Well, I don't know what happened to the comment I thought I posted but I agree with all of the above :)
I just sent a thank you email to Hagyard Hosp.
