Spring, that is. Normally I'd be thrilled at a last little burst of snow, but after the hard freeze two nights ago that popped some of my lilac buds (and I haven't checked the orchard yet) and with how cold our sheep are, I just can't find much joy in this weather. So let's go looking for some joy!
Gary's tulips, Lori :-)
Eli and Comby...NOT giving it the ol' college try...but they look pretty joyful...in an asleep sort of way ;-).
Hang in there everyone!

According to our weather guy, (couch, cough) this is gonna be the last punch of winter for a long while. YAY!!!!!!!
Enjoy your cooler weather while you can I think I am already into my 8 months of summer, record high yesterday and have already seen a lot of the 80's, supposed to have a light shower tomorrow hopefully enough to revive the pasture that is already drying out. Broccoli is all gone and Cauliflower has bolted and is now toast.
Gorgeous!!! Not seeing any green in the Rocky Mountains yet. Still white, and then comes the mud!
Aw poor nekkid sheepies... I prefer the feline "college tries".
Green is months away for us; still is winter up here. Brrrr.
I am hanging on by my fingernails - which ain't saying much.
Now I am going to have to hunt down whatever survived our lovely winter. Put some coats on those sheep...poor babies.
You got cold and snow again..I hope all the nekkid sheeps will avoid colds. How about poor old Elizabeth and Jester..oh my. I shiver just thinking about them:(
The snow is getting a bit tiresome....
I really like that first photo! I am so ready for spring. I used to love winter. I'm on overload now. Take care of yourself and your critters.
I'm with Ely and Comby. I can't find Joy in anything with snow on it. I'm over and done with it.

I'm glad to see that Comby and Eli have worked out what ever was bugging them a couple of weeks ago and have returned to being best buds!!
Yes, I too was sad to see the inch of snow yesterday morning that dropped here too. I am just so over winter. This one has been really hard.
I would note that your tulips, crocus, and other budding students of horticulture have done a great job on their reality tests and are ready for Spring break from Grew U.
