Let The Games Begin

Looks like Maisie is pushing the gate open.  It's a bold move.  Let's see if it pays off for her.

It does!  They're in!  These two have been breaking and entering as a team for months now.  All that training seems to be paying off!

While Maisie goes straight for the hay, Hershey concentrates on the motorized component.

Uh oh.  Something appears to have gone wrong!

Dun dun dun dunnnnn.

Maisie makes a run for it, showing some extreme speed!  Where did her partner go?  (Go back to the previous picture ;-).

The UK (Border Collie, not University of Kentucky ;-) judge has thrown them out of the competition!  Or at least one of them...

(Hershey, whistling nonchalantly ;-)

"She can't see me over here hehehe."

Iris goes for the gold and the crowd goes wild!!!

This is the only reason I watch the Winter Olympics. And the figure skating. Sheep cavorting is still my #1 favorite sport, though.

This is Priceless. When I raised purebred Appaloosa Horses I managed to buy a fabulous Stallion because the owners hated him. They had 5 stallions and one Stallion run. "Champ" got bored easily and was forever opening gates doors etc and they decided to sell him. Imagine a smart horse stuck in a 12 by 12 stall 5 out of 7 days.
When I got him home he broke out of everything but he never went anywhere! He did however try to come in the house once. He looked surprised when I opened the kitchen door to find him mostly in the porch... the look on his face was like "What gave me away?" Nothing like horse hooves stamping on a wooden floor DUH!

He is a boy, after all:-). Is he eating from a bucket or just exploring?! Hershey, Hershey:-).

Maisie looks as big, if not bigger than, Hershey. Is that so?

Thank you for making my morning! I can't wait to see what's happening with you all in Kentucky every morning when I first wake up. This was one of the funniest entries ever! I talk about you every day to my husband, & when he gets home from work he often asks ''What's up in Kentucky today?'' I am disabled/bedridden the majority of the day, & through your wonderful blog I feel like it's such a treat to ''see'' a slice of life, Punkin Patch style!!! Thank you so very much!
