The Farm Report

All okay here. At -4 we didn't get nearly as cold as so many others. And as much as -4 hurt, I just can't imagine those double digits :-o.

I tried to take some pictures this morning.  All the sheep had white whiskers.  I've seen that on horses many times, but never on sheep.  Black faces with white whiskers are Super Cute.  Too bad my iPhone didn't think so.  I only got one (terrible) picture before it completely froze.  These are from this afternoon (big girl camera ;-).  More tomorrow.

Hickory and T-Bone

Hank, getting the Front of the Farm Report from Iris.

Jester.  I'm not sure he's ever taken a bad picture :-).

"I sure am glad I've got more wool than last winter!"

If you're cold, I'm guessing it would be hard to find a warmer big body than Boudreaux ;-).

Elizabeth, happy to be sprung from prison for the afternoon.  Yeesh.  Persnickety old ladies... ;-).

Jester is so photogenic! My sheep are jealous of the lovely wool yours have. Mine need sweaters. Stay warm!

It was WAY too cold here. I worried about my sheeples, but they seem ok.

brrr it is so cold! I didn't even attempt taking my camera out in this cold. I wasn't sure what would freeze first.. my lens or my finger. brrrr

Good to hear and see that everyone is doing well in the cold. I did some chores outside today..it was a real damp cold...took some pictures...played ball with Chance and cleaned up poop piles..frozen solid:)

What I also like in the "Jester: A Super-Star" photo is the rich texture and the subtle color variation in the sheepies' coats. A very soothing image to look at.
