Sunday Stills - Happiness Is...

Almost everything about my life makes me happy. Oh, I have my minor grumbles and complaints and there have definitely been times that have not been so "perfect", but one of my super powers is being able to find a little joy in even the smallest things.

While I wish my super powers included extreme organization, high motivation, extraordinary intelligence, speed knitting...finding joy ain't such a bad one.

I'm sitting out with my silly sheeps, with Comby, Iris, Weaslie and Hank by my side.  The wet ground is seeping into my jeans.  There is mud everywhere.  The extreme weather swings from single digits to upper 40's headed back to single digits again tomorrow has several sheep with snotty noses. I could go on.

I'm sitting out with my silly sheeps, with Comby, Iris, Weaslie and Hank by my side.  It's warm, the sun is shining, the sky is blue, I have my camera, a good pair of mud boots, a warm hat and my animals are happy (except Hank, because Weaslie and Iris just stole his bones ;-).  I could go on.

A great perspective from the ground up!

That truly is a superpower. I have to work at it and remind my little pessimistic streak to go hide under a rock!

I would love to borrow the blue skies please! We've had clouds and more clouds, not really complaining because we also have snow which I love! But a bit of sun would be cheerful :)

Happiness is where you find it! My happy place this weekend was watching Shayla ride Rio in a training clinic.

Finding joy in small things is a superpower that we are all capable of. I've never understood folks that choose to ignore the good things in life. Sure, there are challenges in life, but happiness is always a good choice!
