You Guessed It

Yep, a *picture of my cat.

* You know the blogging rule - if you don't have time to do a normal post, put up a picture of your cat.  This is helpful in letting your super sweet followers who worry if you don't post every day know that you are okay even if you have had to spend TWO OF THE LAST THREE DAYS AT THE DENTIST!!!  :-o

I love Betsy! And poor you and your poor toofers. Is there any profession more loathed than dentistry? I think not.

What a gorgeous cat!

Thanks to several dentists I cannot stand to go to a tire shop and hear an impact wrench or power drills, anything that reminds me of a dentist drill. Hope you are doing ok.

I've got the nicest dentist - he is always smiling, inquiring about my recent vacations, shares pics of his kids and colleague's wedding and always plays with my hair. Have you ever had a dentist tell you to fluff up the back of your hair because it got smashed while lying in the chair so long?

I broke my last molar on the back in half. I'm off to the dentist tomorrow. I hope it doesn't turn into a three day ordeal.

NO! I'm so sorry! Dentists are ... BLECH. I love this kitty photo, but wish you hadn't had to spend the time at the dentist. Recover quickly from whatever you had done!!

Betsy is lovely, and I'm sure we're always glad to see her, but -- Ouch! Hoping they have you fixed up, good as new, with no more dentist for a looooooooooooong time!

Ill bet a snorgle with Betsy will be the balm for all woes! :)

Did you know that dentists have the highest suicide rate of all the medical professions? So be nice to your dentist even if you hate going.

And that's the only reason I got a cat, so I'd have something to blog about on slow days. (just *kidding*, Mabel, my little parking lot rescue kitty)

Ugh about the dentist, she says with a molar that has suspiciously begun to ache!

I can commiserate - I spent my day off today at the dentist, they discovered at my recent cleaning appt that I had somehow taken a chunk out of a filling, and cracked the tooth underneath - luckily no pain, I have no idea when it happened - but of course it's the one right at the back.... things went well, crack didn't increase when they drilled out the partial remaining filling so they were able to refill it, didn't have to get a crown. I also got lots of knitting done! Some when I first got there in the waiting room, then whilst the numbing gel took effect, then a bit more while the injections made my lip and face feel supersize and tingly - got many compliments on the multicolored scarf I'm working on - and certainly passed some of the 2 hour visit. Did you take knitting along? Hope you're not in pain, Aleve and a warmed barley bag on my jaw helped this evening. I never mind a cat pic for a change, especially a sunbathing kitty.
Just got to the Barbara Kingsolver essay in Knitting Yarns, I can see why it was your favorite, I enjoyed it too, I've loved all the stories so far, almost don't want the book to end! Hope your dental issues are resolved soon. Did 20 pick a winner for the weaving book yet?

Just spent a day at the dentist so I can commiserate. I hope all is well. Random Cat photos are up there with sheep photos.. works for almost all situations.

I know you are all going to 'kill' me but I love my dentist and his partner! sorry about that :)
And DO take some Arnica!!! Am I a broken record or what???
Yes, 'snorgle' haha with the cat, if she'll let you that is.

As soon as I saw the cat, I started laughing and said myself: this is one of those days:-).... Sorry about the dentist!

I believe the proper term for Betsy would be a "placeholder". Just there until we're back to our regularly schedules program. Or blog. Sorry about your toofers. It's okay if you cry. I cry almost every time I go to the dentist, even if it's just for a cleaning. Get it over with then curl up with some sheeps.

Gosh! No candy canes or peanut brittle this holiday!
I'm sure at this point, " All you want for Christmas is your two back teeth, so you can wish a Merry Christmas"... not in pain.
Betsy provides the sweetest, non-cavity causing, treats when you need her. hugging her will make you feel better, for sure!
