Renny ended up getting called to join the Tour to replace Rebecca Boone. No doping scandal or anything, just thinking she might be a better choice for the planned project. This was some of her 2012 fleece I had stashed.
A little over 12 ounces, washed and not drying because just moments after these pictures were taken, it poured rain. Again.
If you don't know Renny's story, you should scroll back through her files. Those that do know Renny will be happy to see her out with her buds, enjoying this crazy summer weather. That's her on the right :-).
Her yarn will probably make a vest with super powers, don't you think :-D.

Renny's wool spun up just a bit lighter, but tweedy like Browning's. I have two sample skeins drying, one two-ply and one N-ply, to see which way to go. When they are dry I'll post on the TdF threads to get opinions. Now that I've taken action, I'm excited to start plying, one way or the other!

Louet is now repaired, time to get back on track and speed things up a big, soft pedaling is now over.

My dear friends "The Crazysheeplady"
has blessed me with Renny's fleece to make a vest. I was going to use Rebecca Boone, but Sara thought Renny's fleece would be a better fit for a beginner. So I will need the knitting angels to help with this project. I feel so blessed to have the opportunity to use the fleece from a strong willed sheep. Lord knows at my age I need a power vest for many reasons.
