Therapy Lambs

I wasn't sure if it was appropriate to post silly little lamb pictures today, but then I saw something about the therapy dogs headed to Boston and I realized that while I had nothing profound to say about yet another tragedy, I could provide a sunny creek bank to sit on watching some silly sweet lambs playing...and that might be just enough.

Do you see the guard dog?

Who does that lambie look like?  Could I have accidentally captured a picture of Maisie's sister?

Big cheeky lambs, good mommas and peaceful creek generously provided by The Training Center in Cynthiana, Kentucky.

We need more lambs, less senseless violence. Thank you for the lovely break.

I love the muddy knees. Hank blends right in, doesn't he? I had to look hard to find him.. and then felt silly for not seeing him sooner.

Now I see her!!! I also love the lamb mid air on the right bottom.

That's actually Bella or Billy. Hank would love to live with that nice "normal" bunch of sheep :-).

ha! I see him!
and bless you for this
your instincts were right
....how I wish I could be there and hear them all by the creek

Thank you for some peaceful sweet lamb photos , Our farm is barely an hour from Boston and I admit today was a day I just needed a little more gentle grounding than usual.

Keep the pictures coming Sara, if more people were surrounded by lambs or other critters I am sure there would be less violence. We just need Hollywood to make lambie movies instead of ones with assault rifles.

Leaving the news off for this afternoon, but am thinking of all the families that this tragedy has so needlessly touched.

These pictures were therapy for me... any time I see cute lambs, everything feels right in the world, if only for just a little while... :)

"He leads me beside still waters....." came to mind in the first photo. Lovely peaceful captures in this tumultuous world.
Thanks for sharing.

It took me a while to find Hank. I should have focused on the legs. :)
